Found Poem: One Fine Day
Stretched, broken
Protecting the earth
As far as the eye could see
Yellow fierceness
Promising soon
Hanging, silence, stillness
Unseen frantic men
In crisis below
Enemy
To kill
The thick morning air
An Umbilical rope
Dragging behind
Holding on for dear life
Certain death
Lost his lifeline
Helpless, grim fascination
Spread his arms out wide
Like Jesus on a cross
Then disappeared
